Brent crude trading at $82.89/bbl

Crude oil futures on Monday marginally declined 0.02 per cent to Rs6,550 per barrel as participants trimmed their positions on low demand. On the Multi Commodity Exchange, crude oil for May delivery marginally fell Re 1 or 0.02 per cent to Rs6,550 per barrel with a business volume of 7,956 lots. Globally, West Texas Intermediate crude oil traded 0.18 per cent higher at $78.40 per barrel, while Brent crude was trading 0.12 per cent lower at $82.89 per barrel in New York.
